New Delhi (PTI) – Indian Premier League side Rajasthan Royals today appointed former CEO of the Professional Cricketers Association (PCA) Sean Morris as its new chief executive officer.
As PCA CEO, Morris was instrumental in convincing the English players return to India after last year’s Mumbai terror attacks.
“I am delighted that Sean will be joining the Rajasthan Royals management team. He is well respected by players around the world and we look forward to him helping us build on the phenomenal successes that we have enjoyed so far,” Rajasthan Royals captain Shane Warne said in a statement.
A former Hampshire player, Morris himself was looking forward to be part of the team that won the inaugural Indian Premier League.
“The Rajasthan Royals are a huge success story and I am thrilled to be joining such a progressive and successful organization,” Morris said.
