SOFIA (Reuters) – Top players at Bulgarian champions Levski Sofia have agreed to a pay cut to ease cashflow problems, local media reported on Wednesday.
Levski, who failed to reach the lucrative Champions League group stages after a 4-1 aggregate loss to Hungary’s Debrecen in the playoff round in August, have asked the majority of their players to accept a reduction in wages.
