Russia 2018/2022 Bid Committee to Sponsor Networking Cafe in Asia and Brazil


Soccerex is delighted to confirm that the Russia 2018/2022 FIFA World Cup Bid Committee has signed up to sponsor the networking cafe at both the Soccerex Asian Forum (28-29 July, Singapore) and the Soccerex Global Convention (20-24 November, Rio de Janeiro).

The Russian Bid Committee sponsored the cafe at each of the last two Soccerex events – the 2009 Global Convention and the inaugural Soccerex European Forum – and has chosen to extend their sponsorship to cover the remaining Soccerex events in 2010, in the build up to FIFA’s decision in December, regarding the location of the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cups.

Mohamed bin Hammam confirms for Soccerex Asian Forum


After expressing his support for the inaugural Soccerex Asian Forum (28-29 July, Singapore), Soccerex are delighted to confirm that the President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) will speak at the eagerly anticipated event.

Mohamed bin Hammam (President, AFC), has commented that he is “delighted to welcome Soccerex and the Asian Forum. This is an event we cannot miss because the Forum is now an integral part of football. The AFC gives its full support to this event, and I personally look forward to being part of the Forum.”

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge added to Soccerex European Forum speaker line-up


Soccerex are delighted to announce that the Chairman of the European Club Association (ECA) and FC Bayern Munich will join other industry heavyweights at the Soccerex European Forum (2-3 March, Manchester).  He will lead the European Club Association’s press conference announcing the outcomes of its General Assembly,  hosted in Manchester over March 1-2.

This press conference is the perfect opportunity for Soccerex delegates and accredited press to hear the ECA’s thoughts on the most pertinent issues affecting the world of football. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge will be joined on stage by the ECA General Secretary Michele Centenaro and other Executive Board Members to unveil their association’s plans.

Soccerex partner Paddy Power for exclusive FIFA World CupTM offer

England 2018 promote bid at the Soccerex European Forum


England 2018 has signed a deal with Soccerex to sponsor the VIP reception on the first day of the Soccerex European Forum (2-3 March, Manchester). This networking evening will offer Soccerex delegates and accredited press the chance to discuss England’s progress with senior members of the bid team and its ambassadors.

England’s World Cup bid team were out in force at last year’s Soccerex Global Convention in Johannesburg and met with FIFA Executive Members such as Amos Adamu. Bid Chief Executive, Andy Anson said: “this forum provides another opportunity to present our bid to a prestigious gathering of football industry executives from around the world. We’re looking forward to being in Manchester next month”.

Soccerex add Sevilla and Ajax Amsterdam to speaker list


In just over three weeks’ time hundreds of senior football industry stakeholders will convene at the Soccerex European Forum (2-3 March) in Manchester. José Maria Cruz (General Manager, Sevilla FC) will join Arsenal FC and Inter Milan on a panel discussing the financial prudence and sustainable growth of football. European clubs flock to Soccerex European Forum


A record number of clubs will join hundreds of other industry stakeholders at the Soccerex European Forum (2-3 March, Manchester). To date Soccerex has confirmed the participation of all twenty Premier League teams; thirty-one Coca-Cola Football League clubs and fifty mainland European football clubs will be present throughout the event.

The Soccerex European Forum is the place for all sponsors and service providers to engage with football clubs from around Europe via debate panels, structured networking sessions and social evenings.
